Effective date: 22 June 2026. By downloading, installing, or using Eagle I you agree to these terms.
Eagle I is a local-first desktop time-tracking application for Windows (macOS in development). The software records activity on your machine into an encrypted local vault and provides reports and tray controls. Eagle I is provided as software you run on your device—not as legal, accounting, or compliance advice.
Your free trial begins at Hour0: the first moment you use Eagle I for time tracking after installation (not the install date alone). You receive 72 hours (3 × 24 hours) of unrestricted use from Hour0.
At Hour0 + 72 hours + 1 second, Eagle I will notify you that a paid subscription is required to continue. You then have 7 additional days (7 × 24 hours) to subscribe. If payment is not completed within that window, Eagle I will permanently erase your local vault and associated keys. Export your data before the trial ends if you choose not to subscribe.
Subscriptions are processed by Paddle (or a successor merchant of record we announce before billing begins). Paddle handles payment cards, invoices, and tax where applicable. Your subscription status is linked to your Eagle I account, not to license keys.
When Paddle billing is active, failed renewals follow the grace and lock periods described in the app and on our website at the time of renewal. Paid periods are anchored to your trial end (Hour0 + 72 hours), not necessarily the moment you click pay during the trial.
To protect trial and subscription integrity, Eagle I may generate and transmit a pseudonymous device reference when the app connects to our subscription service (“dock”). This reference is derived from hardware and install signals using a one-way hash—it is not your name, email, window titles, vault contents, or screenshots.
You are responsible for backing up and exporting records you need before trial expiry or vault wipe. Eagle I does not guarantee that exported timesheets will satisfy any particular client, court, or regulatory requirement without your review. You must comply with applicable law and client contracts when tracking time and storing activity data.
You may not reverse-engineer, circumvent billing or trial limits, redistribute the installer in a way that misrepresents the publisher, or use Eagle I to monitor others without their knowledge where prohibited by law.
We may deliver updates through direct download or the Microsoft Store. Updates may change features, interfaces, and these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Eagle I is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. See our Disclaimer for additional detail. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50 if you have not paid.
You may stop using Eagle I at any time and uninstall the application. We may suspend access for breach of these terms. Vault wipe after unpaid trial or subscription lapse is automatic as described in Section 2.
