Privacy Architecture

How I handle your data – in full detail

I send data to a server exactly once in my install lifecycle – to register your install hash. After that, I only receive messages (payment status, updates). I never upload your time entries, screenshots, or project names to any server.

When you export a report, I generate the PDF/CSV locally, save it encrypted in your vault, then decrypt it into a designated export folder. That decrypted copy auto-deletes after 5 minutes. You send it however you like.

Zero-knowledge means even Eagle I™'s creators cannot recover a lost app key. Keep a backup. Your data, your responsibility – and your freedom.

The FDot

Six modes. One always-visible dot.

The FDot floats gently over your taskbar. Each colour tells you exactly what’s happening with your tracking – no need to click, no windows to open.

  • Normal Tracking – Tracking time to a named, chargeable project. Every second counts toward your timesheet.
  • Unassigned Project – Tracking time to the default (unchargeable) bucket. Quick breaks, personal email, song skips – logged but not billed.
  • Confidential Mode – A grey “Confidential Data” banner replaces your real screenshot in any shared report. The actual capture stays encrypted in your local vault only.
  • Highly Confidential – Screen capture halts entirely. A white “Highly Confidential” banner appears in reports. For trade secrets, privileged data, or anything that must never be captured.
  • Idle Mode – Triggers after 2 minutes of no activity. Coming back from a well-deserved break? I’ll ask you to assign that idle time immediately – before you forget what you were doing.
  • Silent Mode – All ribbons and notifications suppressed. Tracking continues in the background. Use it during focused deep-work sprints.

  • Smart App Assignment – Assign entire apps, specific window titles, or individual files to projects. I remember your preferences and auto-switch projects as you change windows.
  • 5-Second Focus Filter – I only log a window after you spend more than 5 seconds on it. A quick alt-tab to Slack won’t pollute your tracked time. I know the difference between work and a distraction.
  • Quick Review – Review up to 72 hours of activity in a single click. Right-click any time bar to reassign, split, delete, or edit screenshots. Switch between Timeline, Table, and Gantt views.
  • Quicknote – Every N minutes (your choice: 5 to 30), I’ll nudge you to jot down what you’re doing. 30 seconds of context now means a perfectly detailed work log later.
  • Status Ribbons – Elegant ribbon notifications flow from the FDot for project switches, idle periods, screenshot captures, and billing events – never obstructing your work.
  • Strict Activity Detection – Random mouse movements don’t count as activity. Only genuine keyboard and click interactions are logged. Your integrity score reflects real productivity.
